It’s hard as a touring band to know how good or bad a venue might be, and what the possible alternative in a given city are. We have played in Vancouver once before when we opened for Autre Ne Veut, and this was also at the Electric Owl.
I would love to get feedback for the future from you or anyone else on better alternative venues in Vancouver and elsewhere.
When we are on tour and play a venue in your city that may have bad associations, it’s probably because we have never played there before or because we don’t know of any good alternatives.
So in general, let me know about good venues and alternative spaces that aren’t necessarily a part of the ‘corporate club’ circuit, I’m definitely all-ears.
